Lexington Store Faces Thousands in Damage After Car Impact
Police authorities and local firefighters are currently investigating an incident in which a car crashed into a building in downtown Lexington, Kentucky, WKYT reported on December 6.
Members of the Lexington Division of Police have arrested the person who drove the Chevrolet Silverado that crashed into the Home Health Supply store located on South Broadway near the university of Kentucky campus. The crash, which spilled bricks from the building onto the sidewalk, happened at around 5 a.m. on Saturday morning, according to the Lexington Fire Department.
The property’s manager said damage done to the property will amount to thousands of dollars in repairs, although they will work to have the store re-opened by Monday.
