Authorities Look for Driver Who Crashed Into Lexington Establishment
Police investigators in Lexington, Kentucky are still on the lookout for the driver of the vehicle that wrecked the front of the South Hill Gallery on Versailles Road last Sunday night, April 20.
According to the police, the perpetrator was able to flee the scene of the accident before either emergency medical responders or law enforcement agents were able to secure the area. However, according to store owner Letha Drury, leaving the scene would have been difficult as “his car was demolished”. The vehicle was left at the accident scene.
The abandoned car contained open alcohol bottles and a puppy, which Animal Care and Control took into its care. The center’s officials said the puppy seemed to be in good health.
